Founded by Jonathan Buttery, a respected figure in the travel insurance market, our company quickly earned a reputation for reliability and expertise.
In 2006, Voyager Insurance became part of the Somerville Group under the leadership of Andrew Cross, marking the start of a new era of innovation. Over the years, we have led the way in developing cutting-edge travel and wedding insurance products, underpinned by a deep commitment to not just meeting but exceeding our customer expectations.
Our dedication to customer service has been recognised with multiple accolades, including Feefo awards for outstanding service, Insurance Choice Awards for Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance (2016 and 2018), and the National Insurance Award for InsuraHome Home Insurance Products in 2020.
In 2024, Voyager Insurance was acquired by the Caledon Group, established by David Whitaker, Andrew Cross, and Paul Davies to leverage decades of experience in the UK insurance market. Brokers can be confident that their customers are purchasing trusted insurance products with high quality cover, backed by reliable claims handing.
Voyager Insruance’s brokers can access the products of their choice through an online booking platform called WEBroker. This platform provides brokers with an easy-to-use internet-based interface through which to arrange and sell policies to their customers. Policy documents are automatically issued directly to customers and renewals can be managed on-screen. In addition, a simple link to the broker’s website enables customers to buy online easily so this makes the product available 24 hours a day whilst maintaining the customer relationship with the broker.
